AT THE TOMATOE STORE WE HAVE BEEN GROWING AND SELLING OUR OWN HEIRLOOM TOMATOES FOR 15 YEARS. WE GROW EVERYTHING ON OUR 50 ACRE FARM IN FLORIDA AND PROVIDE OUR LOCAL MARKETS WITH GREAT TASTING PRODUCE.  WE GROW IN A SIMPLE SYSTEM THAT USES PERLITE GROW BAGS AND OUR OWN BLEND OF FERTILIZER.  WE SPECIALIZE IN HEIRLOOM TOMATOES, BUT GROW A WIDE VARIETY OF VEGETABLES AND GREENS.  WE BELIEVE IN KEEPING THE WHOLE GROWING PROCESS AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE.  WE GROW THE HEIRLOOM VARIETIES BECAUSE THEY ARE UNUSUAL IN COLOR AND APPEARANCE AND TASTE SO GOOD.  HEIRLOOM VARIETIES ARE JUST LIKE YOUR GRANDMOTHERS GARDEN AND ARE NOT GMO MODIFIED

Plant Auction - 15 plants were provided to our members at our October auction. Thank you to all who participated, especially Pres Mark Young, John Long and Holly Shaw as auctioneers.

 

Tasting Table 'Tropical Fruit Harvest is Now' and Congrats to our members who brought in and prepared delicacies for our members and guests to enjoy! .


South Florida Fair January 13 - 29 2017 signup sheet for your time at the Fair is now available. Free admission for Volunteers. Sign up Genie or 1st VP Debra Marcelle-Coney for available times. Great way for new members to learn about Tropical Fruits, and promote our Club. Meet people from around the world as they share their tales of far away places, and native varieties.


December Holiday Party  Friday December 9,  7:30PM  members only celebration, setup starts at 5pm, Doors for members to socialize at 6:45pm, short business meeting with food and entertainment starts at 7:30 til 9pm. Mounts Auditorium
